Yes it's spring time again.
This lady brings her mare up to go in with the stallion. So I get him out of the field and tell her to take her mare in there. I then take Fergus back in and we let them both go. He is quite a cool dude but he ain't had a mare since last spring, so he's pretty up for it.
'Goodness me he's keen', says the owner.
'She's not quite ready for him yet', says the wife.
Fergus is hanging there wondering when he's gonna get lucky. He's cool but he oh so needs it.
'She might just let him have a shag to keep him quiet', I said.
'mmm, know that feeling', said the wife and the owner simultaneously.
