Bollocks to You...part two

Thank you all for commenting on my godforsaken blog. I am truly sorry I am such a grouchy old bastard.
This weekend I am off to my son's wedding. I am forbidden from wearing my birkenstocks but I have won the small concession of not having to wear a tie. As the years go by I am losing my edge - maybe that is why I am getting a bit grumpy. I just wanted to explain that underneath all the grumpyness is a really nice person - Vicus will vouch for that.
Anyway, got to go and do a load of jobs now for the missus. See you in a few days.
Love you all.
Mr Grumpy

  2. Yes, it is just that it is so far down, that one queries whether it is worth the search.

  3. Have a lovely weekend - post us a picture of your feet at the event so that Carmy stays calm and still loves you - no getting off with the bridesmaids or Pammy will have to shoot you - and have fun :)

  5. Tommy, I love you, birkenstocks and all. Have a lovely time and ENJOY!!! For Pammy's sake, I need to stress that I love you in the most platonic way.

  6. We loves you Tommy boy. Hope you know that.

It's all right to be grumpy once in awhile. It happens. Nobody is a ray of sunshine all the time.

    smooches to you.

  8. It's a bugger when you write a post that you are really proud of and it gets virtually ignored.

For my part, I read it, ( the SL update), loved it, but there was no way I could think of anything witty or worthy, so I didn't comment. It didn't mean I'd stopped caring.

Enjoy the wedding if you must xx

  9. Hope you'll find time to nip out of the reception to hit a quick half-century for us.

  10. Awww, Tom. You don't got to get comments on yer posts to be loved, you know. I mean: I posted a five minute clip of Roy Buchanan two days ago, which was met by abject silence. And I KNOW you all adore moi!

You got any good ale emporiums in your neck of the woods? I'm definitely going to try and drop in next time I travel to Cornwall, if you'll have me.

We could even wander on to the moors and drop acid, maaaan. Just for old times' sake, y'unnerstan'.

(That last bit wasn't serious. It might be if you've got any Peyote Cacti growing nearby, but I suspect they're a bit thin on the ground on Dartmoor...)

  11. Well I am clearly too late to say "enjoy the wedding, if it's possible to enjoy a wedding".

I hope you and Mark don't end up scaring the ponies on Dartmoor. Anyone wanting to join me sniffing petrol in Bursted Woods, Kent, on Bank Holiday Monday can be guaranteed the most bleak experience of their lives, man.
